Our menstrual cycle is a normal, healthy and healthful aspect of being a woman. It is a powerful process which shows us how to live authentically and uniquely as ourselves. Our menstrual cycle – though culturally derided – is a great source of energy, regeneration and renewal. through
Getting to know your cycle is getting to know yourself! During your reproductive years, you are in your menstrual cycle, and you see this in your moods, your energy levels and your mucus.
Our rites of passage – birth, menarche, the birth of children, and menopause – are also natural, healthy and powerful initiatory processes that deepen our relationship to ourselves, our communities and the Earth.
Connecting with your menstrual cycle and your rites of passage is part of the re-wilding of the feminine that is so needed now.

Tantric Touch: Conscious Touch & Somatic Boundaries
Anjali Venga
Have you been interested in learning more about Tantra but don't know where to start? Maybe you want to experience these famed full-body energy orgasms, or gain heightened awareness of your body's own energy field.
Or maybe you've been walking the Tantra Path for a while, and simply want to practise tuning into different bodies, deepening your intimacy with yourself and others in the Toronto community.
This workshop blends some ISTA content, including Betty Martin's Wheel of Consent; Somatic Boundary energetic practices; and various Conscious Touch exercises, always switching partners. We will look at Conscious Touch as a prep for Tantra Massage.
This workshop is for ages 18+, people of all genders and levels. While we do deal with sensuality and sexual energy, there is no full nudity and no genital touch in this workshop. It is also not a Tantra Massage workshop, so we will not be using oil, etc. We're simply practising using different qualities of touch on each other.
Please arrive on time. :)
If finances are a barrier, please reach out to Anjali directly.

How to Survive a Bear Attack Book Launch
In this debut memoir from the bestselling author of The Bear and The Last Neanderthal, Claire Cameron confronts the rare genetic mutation that gave her cancer by investigating an equally rare and terrifying event—a predatory bear attack.
When Claire Cameron was nine years old, her father told her he was dying. In the years after he was gone, she overcame her grief among the rivers and lakes of Algonquin Park, a vast Canadian wilderness. Around that same time, in 1991, a couple was killed in a rare predatory black bear attack in the park—an event that shocked and haunted Claire.
